Buses
If children are not traveling to school on their bus in the morning parents are asked to contact the bus driver or get someone who gets on the bus before their children to give the bus driver a message.
All children must attend bus assembly after school, whether or not they are traveling on the bus. This includes occasions when children are being collected after school.
If parents wish their child to travel home on another bus please contact the bus driver as some buses are relatively full and requests may be refused. Once the bus driver confirms that there is space on the bus, please contact the school and advise us of bus changes.
Where your child has regular after school commitments parents are asked to fill out the form attached to the newsletter at the beginning of the term.
Notes for changes to daily bus routines are to be placed in the bus folders which are located in the reception. Parents are also welcome to leave messages in these folders.
If the school has not been contacted your child/children will be sent home on their usual bus.
Each bus has a teacher in charge of loading at the end of the day. If there are any issues with the bus please contact the appropriate teacher.
Each year bus monitors are chosen for each bus route.
If you need to make an unexpected change to your child’s after school bus arrangements, please ensure that you telephone the school prior to 3.00pm.
For the safety of the students, all children must wear the hi-viz vest provided by the school.
