Absences

If your child is absent from school we legally require to be notified that they will be away either by a phone call, an email or the 'report an absence' form on the website home page, with an explanation for the absence.  Caregivers will be contacted by phone shortly after school commences if there has not been a message informing the school of the child’s absence.  If no contact can be made on any of the numbers we have on hand then our legal obligation means we have to consider the next appropriate course of action.  Therefore it is important emergency contacts are kept current. Your help and understanding with this school responsibility is much appreciated.

It is important that parents encourage children to be punctual and regular in their attendance at school, to foster positive
attitudes and ensure progress is maintained.

We encourage parents to make appointments, etc, out of school hours.
